Eamon: Welcome ladies and gentelmen to the first edition of Ring of Honor TV. We have a great show planned for you tonight with exclusive matches featuring the atheletes of Ring of Honor, plus exclusive ongoings in the world that is Ring of Honor. Of course, the big news coming from this week is the crowning of a new ROH Pure Champion in Double C Claudio Castagnoli. Claudio was able to last for two nights against 15 other men in a grueling tournament which ended with Claudio sealing his first singles title with a win over Colt Cabana. Claudio has made extreme struggles in his career from his move to america from Switzerland to finally reach his dream of winning a singles championship. We caught up with Claudio after his match.

Claudio: Finally, after all my hard work, all my dedication. This is the payoff. The ROH Pure Title. I represented Pure Wrestling since the beginning. This belt proves it. From the AJ Styles, to the Doug Williams, the Samoa Joes, the Nigel McGuinness's, the Bryan Danielson's. They all became wrestling stars becuase of this gold. And now it is time for Claudio Castagnoli to become the true star that he always wanted to be. I will make sure to defend this championship with dignity, with drive and honor against any man who wants to take this belt from me.

Eamon: Well, Claudio will be defending the championship sooner than later. As in Edison on May 29 we will have a #1 contenders match between two men that faced Claudio in the tournament. Those men are the over the top Colt Cabana and the hard hitting Low Ki. The winner of that match will then face Claudio for the Pure championship on June 10th in Detroit. Hopefully, Claudios dream of being champion will not be shattered in mere weeks. Also, shockingly coming from the Pure tournament was a series of events involving Jimmy Jacobs and the Age of the Fall. On the first night, we saw both Tyler Black and Jimmy Jacobs lose their matches in the first round of the tournament. Later on in the second night however, during the match between Austin Aries and Low Ki, this happened.

(Footage is shown of Jimmy Jacobs attacking Aries with the railroad spike during the match)

Eamon: Jacobs ruined the chance of Aries being a Triple Crown Champion. However, Jacobs will not go without punishment for his deeds as in Edison he will be wrestling both the man Tyler Black lost too in the tournament and former tag team champion with Austin Aries, Roderick Strong. Next week, we will get words from both Aries and Jacobs involving this situation. When we get back from commercial break we will see the Ring of Honor World Tag Team champions in action.

Eamon: Be sure to not just watch Ring of Honor TV. Visit rohwrestling.com for dvds from Ring of Honor, Shimmer, FIP, WWE, TNA and many others, plus exclusive ROH merchandise. Also catch Ring of Honor in your area as we will be in Edison, Detroit, Manassas, Boston, Dayton, Columbus, Indianapolis and Toronto. Go to rohwrestling.com for more information.

Ring Announcer: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall. Making their way to the ring, the team of Silas Young and Jason Blade.

Ring Announcer: And their opponents, they are the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Champions, the team of Kevin Steen and El Generico.

• Blade uses his strength to pick Generico up, flip him over and nail a clothesline, followed by a dropkick

• Generico sends Blade back into the ring and nails a flying splash for a two count

• Silas begins to pound on Steen when Generico dives to the outside onto Blade and hits a DDT
• Steen ducks Silas’s clothesline and nails the Package Piledriver dropping Young on his head
• Generico then rushes in the ring and hits a brainbuster on Young to seal the victory

Ring Announcer: Your winners, the Ring of Honor World Tag Team champions, Kevin Steen and El Generico

• Both men shake hands after words and Steen and Generico celebrate as they go to the back

Eamon: What an awesome showing by our tag team champions of ROH Kevin Steen and El Generico. For those in the New Jersey area be sure to come to our show in Edison on the 29th as Steen and Generico will be in action as they take on the Osirian Portal. Also in Edison will be a classic match between Jimmy Rave and "The Best Wrestler in the World" Bryan Danielson. Earlier we caught up with Jimmy Rave about this match.

Rave: May 29th in Edison, New Jersey. Jimmy Rave makes himself a household name. Back when I was wrestling in Orlando, I was made an absolute joke of and eventually fired. So I will take out my frustration on a man considered the best wrestler in the world. Bryan Danielson, you may have all these different ways to take a man out. But in Edison, when I take you down and lock on that dreaded Heel Hook, as you scream like a little bitch, they wont matter. Because in Edison, Jimmy Rave will be considered "The Best Wrestler in the World" and will be one step closer to my ultimate goal of the Ring of Honor World Title!

Eamon: Harsh words from Jimmy Rave to Bryan Danielson but up next we will see our main event as Women's champion MsChif faces Allison Danger.

(Ring of Honor Classic Moment of the week is debuted featuring the first night in ROH)

(Tale of the tape is shown for MsChif vs Allison Danger)

Ring Announcer: The following women’s contest is scheduled for one fall. On her way to the ring, from The City of Angels, Allison Danger.

• MsChif delivers a kick to the gut on Danger that is followed by a Springboard Moonsault from the second rope for a two count
• MsChif begins to stomp on Danger in the corner as well as nail repeated kicks to her abdomen

• MsChif hits a series of wicked chops and then sends Danger in to the turnbuckle
• Danger avoids a clothesline in the corner and nails a sunset flip for a two count

• Danger puts MsChif on her shoulders for a Death Valley Driver and finishes the Driver by sending MsChif back first into the turnbuckle
• Danger goes for a two count that fails and picks MsChif back on her feet
• Danger then crotches MsChif on the top, pulls her down into the Tree of Woe and charges with a boot to the side of MsChif’s head
• Danger pulls MsChif and tries for a STF only for MsChif to make the ropes, forcing Danger to break the hold
• Danger then pulls MsChif closer to the center and applies a Dragon Sleeper on MsChif
• MsChif cannot reach the ropes so she bridges up and nails a enziguri, knocking both women down
• As MsChif is getting up, Danger goes for a running single knee facebuster, but MsChif inverts it into a facebuster
• MsChif begins to charge until Danger gets behind her and drives the back of her head into Danger’s knee
• She then follows it with a quick DDT for a two count
• Danger whips MsChif into the ropes and out of desperation, MsChif nails a running Code Green for two and then drags Danger into the corner
• MsChif puts Danger’s head face first against the turnbuckle and a triple double foot stomp to the back of MsChif
• MsChif goes for the Desecrator, however it is reversed into a swinging neckbreaker by Danger
• Danger then tries to finish the match with the Shining Wizard, though it is reversed by MsChif into a powerbomb
• MsChif then follows it with the Desecrator and secures the three count

Ring Announcer: Here is your winner, the Ring of Honor World Women’s champion, MsChif

Ring of Honor presents Purely Honor Night 1

*Note: This is not going to be the normal format of my shows. It will change once the tournament is over

Ring Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is a Pure Championship Tournament first round match, scheduled for one fall. On the way to the ring accompanied by his personal man servant, Shane Hagadorn, from San Diego, California, weiging in at 245 pounds, “Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce.

• Shane Hagadorn grabs the microphone and gives it to Adam Pearce

Pearce: Everyone here in Chicago, get down on your knees because you are looking at the man that is about to represent Pure wrestling for ROH. The “Scrap Daddy” is a former NWA World Champion, NWA being a company that embodies pure wrestling. I’m gonna move that pure wrestling from the National Wrestling Alliance to Ring of Honor and I will do it by beating anyone in this tournament that tries to defy the “Scrap Daddy”. So bring out my first victim.

Ring Announcer: His opponent, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, weiging in at 202 pounds, Austin Aries.

Austin wins at 5:38 with the Last Chancery. Aries dominated the match for the most part even taking out the interfering Hagadorn. Match ends with Aries on the top and when Hagadorn tries to interfere he hits a rolling powerbomb. Pearce tries to fight back but Aries hits the top rope facebuster quickly followed by the Last Chancery.

• After Aries leaves and celebrates, Pearce grabs the microphone.

Pearce: Yah… Well… SHUT UP

• Pearce drops the microphone and storms off.

(Camera goes to the back with the Age of the Fall)
Jacobs: The Ring of Honor Pure Championship tournament. A tournament for a title held by some of the best professional wrestlers in this industry. ROH has shunned us for way to long. We were cast into the background and now we will have our retribution. Pure wrestling is everything that ROH is about. And we will take it hostage. I and Tyler Black are both in the tournament meaning we have the best chance to succeed. In the first round, I have Low-Ki. The first Ring of Honor world champion. You will also be our first example.

Black: And I have Roderick Strong. Strong, you’re a former World Tag Team Champion. Never made it big single. This will be no exception as I destroy you and move on in the tournament.

Jacobs: And for all who are in our way the message will be sent. This tournament claims to have the best wrestling. Tonight, you will be praised for your athleticism, but you will be killed for your idiocy. The Age will stand tall.

Ring Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is a Pure Championship Tournament first round match. On the way to the ring. From the Dark Side of a Broken Heart. Weiging in at 173 pounds. He represents the Age of the Fall. Jimmy Jacobs.

Ring Announcer: And his opponent. From Brooklyn, New York. Weiging in at 180 pounds. Low-Ki

· Low Ki wins at 11:47 with a Ghetto Stomp. Very hard hitting with a chair coming into play and vicious moves by both. Necro Butcher tries to interfere with a Barbed wire wrapped hand but it backfires and Low Ki hits a Ki Krusher while simultaneously sending the feet of Jacobs into Necro, knocking him off the apron. This gives him the opportunity for the Ghetto Stomp.

Ring Announcer: Please welcome to the ring, The Ring of Honor World Heavyweight Champion, Nigel McGuinness

Nigel: Well, well, well. Looks like once again, all of you smart marks and all of the Ring of Honor fans got egg on their face. I am still the Ring of Honor World Heavyweight champion. I defy all those wrestling fans who doubt me. I stand up to the ignorant and useless critics. You do not affect me anymore because I have done it all. Since I came to America and since I came to ROH, I was told I couldn’t be a champion. I was told that all I brought to the table was an English accent and a bunch of lariats. These lariats that I use to knock your jaw down your throat are what have won me the Ring of Honor World title. Everyone was so surprised that I held this championship for over a year. And guess what, I’m gonna hold this title for another year, and another year, and another year, and the person who takes this belt off me will be the man that pries it from my cold, dead, British arms. I am Ring of Honor. I am the top star. Love it or hate it, either way. I am Nigel McGuinness and I’m in it to god damn win it.

(Samoa Joe grabs a microphone)

Joe: You’re Ring of Honor? You represent Ring of Honor? I know I’ve been gone for a long time but last time I checked when people think Ring of Honor, they think Samoa Joe. That’s a nice belt you have there. Once again I apologize I’ve been gone from a real company for a really long time but that kind of looks like the belt I made famous. You know what, that is the belt. That’s the Ring of Honor world title. And you’re Nigel McGuinness. I remember you. In it to win it right? Wow, I mean you won the belt. And no offense but I heard of all these men that you’ve beaten for the belt, that you held it for more than a year now. And I looked through the names you have beaten and man that is amazing. You have wrecked the competition in ROH. But I looked through all the names and one seemed to be missing. (Fans chant “Joe is gonna kill you”) And that’s mine. So you say you can take down anyone huh? How bout the man that made that a world title. How bout the man who made Ring of Honor. The man who bled, the man who sweat the man who killed for ROH. So, do you have the marbles to take me on? So I can beat you famous and take back the most important championship in North America. What do you say?

(Nigel slides out of the ring and heads to the back)

Joe: I’ll take that as a maybe but as I said a long time ago, welcome back to professional wrestling. Welcome to Ring of Honor.

(Fans go crazy and chant ROH)

Joe: Back in 2007, I had my final match in this company. I went to Orlando and no offense. I was made into a joke. And I read your emails. I read your message boards. I heard you’re calls and I heard you rally. You wanted me back. You wanted the real Samoa Joe back. You wanted the man who scarred his chest and showed no remorse and no stop in taking down his opponent. Well, its good to be home. I am back for you fans. I am back for those watching at home. And I am back to reclaim the legacy and notoriety that is the Samoan Submission Machine. So, for those that might have forgotten, I am Samoa Joe. And I am pro wrestling.
