Will Rutherford: Fans, we are backstage here during intermission and I am with Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley, the Motor City Machineguns. Guys, congratulations to Alex Shelley on his win tonight in your hometown of Detroit. And because of this, ROH management has decided to grant both of you two with shots at the ROH World Tag Team Championships in Virginia.

Alex Shelley: Finally, FINALLY! They recognize the future that is the careers of the Motor City Machine Guns. Beautiful night it was here in the Motor City. And now we have progressed into our future as ROH World Tag Team Champions.

Chris Sabin: I mean seriously, who’s gonna stop us in our path. Let’s look at our opposition. We have a fat slob with a pizza face.

Alex Shelley: I use Neutrogena. Makes a great moisturizer.

Chris Sabin: Well I’m a fan of Clearasil but different strokes for different folks.

Shelley: At least we know the true meaning of a well balanced diet.

Sabin: And then we have a skinny Mexican behind a mask.

Shelley: Honestly, I don’t know what you are hiding. I’d never hide behind a mask. I have websites dedicated to my facial features. My eyes, my smile.

Sabin: Your cheeks?

Shelley: Well, that’s a different website.

Sabin: Whatever. Anyways, the only thing that is gonna make our facial features look better, is those shiny pieces of gold around our waist.

Shelley: And once that happens, there will be mandatory doses of Vitamin A and Vitamin C for all the Ring of Honor fans.

Sabin: So what now?

Shelley: (Thinks) Come on, let’s go bang some hookers.

Sabin: I see why we are tag team partners. Let’s go!

Ring Announcer: Welcome back ladies and gentlemen from intermission and if you thought what you’ve just seen was amazing, wait till our three main events in the second half of our show. So sit back and re…

Ring Announcer: You’re… You’re…

(Mickie takes the microphone)

Mickie: I’m gonna stop you there. See, my name is not Mickie James. My name is Alexis Laree. Those that remember me as Alexis, thank you for your support. A little history lesson will show that I was once competing in the ring with this very company Ring of Honor. And when I wrestled here, those were two of the most informative and important years of my wrestling career. And when I left, there seemed to have been an emptiness and unfullfilness in my heart. When I was in WWE, I traveled the world, I made a name for myself and almost became like a mini celebrity. But that emptiness remained inside and continued to eat away until one day I began to surf the net. I hear, ROH has a new women’s division and a women’s title. A division of women’s wrestlers in ROH is something I never got to experience. I had emptiness in my heart before. And I think I know exactly how to fill it. I know that I am a former 4 time women’s champion. So why not make it number 5 in the best wrestling promotion on the face of the earth today, ROH! Fans of pro wrestling, Alexis Laree has come home!

Danielson: Hey Joe. Joe. Great job man. What a way to return to Ring of Honor. Everyone, give a round of applause for Samoa Joe. (Fans clap and chant “Thank you Joe”.) Absolutely amazing. Just like I remembered you Joe. (Pause) But let me tell you something. You have been gone for a long time now. The new number one contender is me! Joe, you signified pure wrestling. You signified Ring of Honor. Now that you left, I’ve taken you’re spot. Now, when people think pure wrestling, they think Bryan Danielson. When they think athleticism, they think Bryan Danielson. When they think of Ring of Honor, the first man to pop into their mind is me! When they think of Samoa Joe, they think of nothing but an absolute joke. How was it Joe? How was it to wrestle guys like Sting, and Kurt Angle and Jeff Jarrett? And how did it feel to sell out to every single one of these Ring of Honor fans? You sold out to put your name on a national scale. What did it get you Joe? Everything that you built up and everything you did to help us, you crapped on all of it. You crapped on making the ROH Championship a world title. So why do you deserve a title match? If any one deserves it, it is the best wrestler in the world today. As far as I’m concerned, you can fly you’re way back to Orlando, Florida and earn some extra cash by defacing you’re career even further. In my opinion, you are not welcomed here!

(Danielson jaw jacks with some fans as he leaves.)

(The crowd is divided between boos and cheers for Joe as he leaves.)
